The question as to whether George Ravenscroft invented lead crystal glass has been the subject of much debate for some considerable time. This presentation puts forward the idea that flints and not lead was the principal ingredient contained in his patented recipe for making 'a Perticular sort of Christaline Glasse resembling Rock Christal
