From Rome to Stourbridge - 2000 Years of Cameo Glass , 22nd August 2012.

The British Glass Foundation supported by The Glass Association & The Friends of Broadfield House Glass Museum are pleased to announce a conference at Hagley Hall to celebrate 2000 years of cameo glass.  Booking Form & Further Details.

The speakers are Dr Paul Roberts ,the senior curator in the department of Greek & Roman Antiquities at The British Museum. His talk '' Ancient Roman Cameo Glass ''will be followed by Charles Hajdamach whose talk is entitled ''The Glories Of Stourbridge Cameo Glass ''. To bring cameo glass making right up to date the 2012 replica of The Portland Vase will be unveiled.
