Glass in Edinburgh

I'm in Edinburgh to see the F C B Cadell exhibition in the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art  http://www.nationalgalleries.org/whatson/exhibitions/the-scottish-colour..., but have taken the opportunity to visit both the National Museum of Scotland and the National Gallery of Scotland.  I was pleased to see the National Museum has the work of two Scottish glassmakers in the shop - Mike Hunter (Twists Glass) http://www.scotlandsglass.co.uk/cms/index.php?option=com_content&task=vi... and Scott Irvine http://www.scottishglasssociety.com/user/91 - but rather less pleased to see that the National Gallery of Scotland does not seem to support the many skilled glassmakers in the country, preferring to give prominence only to the glass of  LSA International with a head office and distribution centre in that quitessentially Scottish town of Sunbury-on-Thames.....
