As reported at our 2007 AGM, the posts of the regional organisers (for so long a successful part of the Glass Association) have been reorganised into a National Team. All of our events will be organised for all of the Glass Association membership – with an effort to arrange them around the country.
What follows are details of the major Glass Association events of the year. Others will be advertised both in The Cone and on this Website.
For further information about events, please contact Gaby Marcon at gabymarcon@btinternet.com.
Prices and itineraries, where applicable, will be posted on this Website in due course. Details will also be published in The Cone.
If you have any suggestions for future visits and tours, please send your ideas to Gaby Marcon:
We look forward to seeing you at the Glass Association's 2008 events. |

13th to 26th July |
Trip/Event: “Hi Sklo, Lo Sklo” .
Location: King’s Lynn Festival.
Description: Graham Cooley will present “Hi Sklo, Lo Sklo” (sklo is the Czech word for glass). Ten years of work has gone into this collection, opening up a new world of Czech glass collecting - featuring art work from the top end of the market, all the way through to mass produced items.
The Glass Association will be running a whole-day event on the 12th of July (the day before the official opening date), with a personally guided tour of the exhibition, as well as a lunch, which will be followed by one of Graham’s famous interviews with one of the best known authorities on Czech glass.
